What is the difference between 520nm and 532nm lasers?
The visibility of 532nm and 520nm green lasers is similar. Due to the lower divergence angle, 532nm lasers have a longer range and stronger penetration. However, 520nm is more stable than 532nm.
Output power
For 520nm, the maximum power we can achieve is 4W. For 532nm, the power range we recommend is 1-300mW. If the output power exceeds 500mW, the cost of a 532nm laser pointer will be much higher than a 520nm laser.
Applications
Compared with other wavelengths, 520nm/532nm laser has better visibility and penetration. It can reach a long distance and is suitable for astronomy, outdoor adventures, mountaineering, etc.
