Green Laser Pointer - What You Need to Know Before Buying?

Features of a green laser
Green laser is more widely used than blue/red laser (the green light laser has better visibility). It amplifies light generated by the stimulated radiation - a superior green light source. The wavelength of the green laser beam is generally 532nm/520nm; typically, you can change the beam divergence and beam intensity by adjusting the focus. The demand for powerful laser pointers is increasing in the market, so we have done a large production and research in this field. The class 4 green laser pointer can burn things. It usually has circuit protections and a built-in cooling system for better safety.

What can you do with a green laser pointer?
The class 2/3A green laser pointers can be used for cat toys, presentations and other commercial purposes; they are not harmful to the eyes with low output power (1mW - 5mW). The recommended power range for astronomy is 10mW - 50mW, which is long-distance and relatively safe (50-200mW is also okay, but more than 200mW is not recommended for astronomy use). If you want to light a match, the 200mW power with adjustable focus can meet your need (in fact, a focusable 100mW green laser pointer can light matches). The higher the power, the easier it is to burn. If you are interested in ultra-powerful green laser pointers, you should know what they can do: military, burning, laser experiments and other professional applications.

Precautions for using a powerful green laser pointer
When using a 5mW+ green laser pointer, please do not let the laser beam enter the eyes, which may cause injury and even blindness! Never use a powerful laser to point at cars or planes, which may cause serious accidents! When using 1000mW+ laser pointers, you'd better wear the laser safety glasses. Please do not let the powerful green laser pointer work continuously for a long time (otherwise, the useful life will be shortened). Please remove the battery(s) from the laser when not in use.
